ELBOW 90º, LONG RADIUS, B.W. ENDS, ASTM A-420, GR.WPL6, SMLS AS PER ANSI/ASME B 16.9.IN THE FOLLOWING SIZES:2" NPS.
Usually need to produce such elbows according to specific engineering requirements or specific drawings. In addition to meeting the requirements of the pipe diameter, the specific conditions of the pipe must also be considered, such as pipe transportation pressure, fluid viscosity, abrasion, corrosiveness and various fluid factors, such as transportation temperature. Usually, butt joints are welded at the pipeline construction site. This is because the welding standards of various pipelines are different, and on-site welding needs to be carried out according to the welding level of the pipeline. Large diameter butt elbows are classified according to the radius of curvature and can be divided into long butt elbows and short butt elbows. The length of curvature of the long-diameter butt-welded elbow is equal to 1.5 times the pipe size, that is, R=1.5D. The curvature diameter of the short radius butt elbow is equal to the pipe diameter, that is, R=1D. In the formula, D is the diameter of the butt elbow, and R is the radius of curvature. If divided by pressure level, there are about 17 types, which are the same as the American pipeline standards: Sch5s, Sch10s, Sch10, Sch20.
Elbow materials include carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, low temperature steel, duplex steel, nickel-based alloy, Hastelloy, etc., and can also be manufactured in accordance with technical standards provided by customers. Elbows are widely used in petroleum, chemical, and electric power , Aerospace, fire fighting, metallurgy, shipbuilding, gas, urban construction plumbing and environmental protection and other industries.
Elbows are pipe fittings that change the direction of the pipeline. According to the angle, there are three commonly used elbows of 45° and 90°180°, and other abnormal angle elbows such as 60° are also included according to engineering needs. The material of the elbow includes cast iron, stainless steel, alloy steel, malleable cast iron, carbon steel, non-ferrous metals and plastics. The ways to connect with the pipe are: direct welding (commonly used) flange connection, hot melt connection, electrofusion connection, threaded connection and socket connection, etc. According to the production process, it can be divided into: welding elbow, stamping elbow, push elbow, casting elbow, etc. Other names: 90 degree elbow, right angle bend, love and bend, etc.
Carbon steel elbows are characterized by relatively high carbon content. The raw material for carbon steel seamless elbows is seamless steel pipes. The main production process is round tube billet → heating → piercing → three-roll cross rolling, continuous rolling or extrusion → stripping Pipe → sizing (or reduction) → cooling → straightening → hydraulic test (or flaw detection) → marking → warehousing. Application areas: widely used in petroleum, chemical, nuclear power plants, food manufacturing, construction, shipbuilding, papermaking, medicine and other industries. Uses: water, beverages, beer, food, petrochemicals, nuclear power, machinery, medical equipment, fertilizers, shipbuilding, waterproofing, pipelines, etc.
